Rae’s is a treasure trove of unworn vintage glasses and sunglasses. Expect a mixture of excellent condition one-off pieces, designer, lesser-known brands, handmade and a very small selection of restored glasses. From 1940’s with a majority 1970’s -1990’s.
Bring your prescription and your lenses can be filled too.
Rae started as a pop-up on Camden Passage in 2020 before popping up over the UK and finding a permanent dream shop back on Charlton Place. Both her parents are Opticians and grew up cleaning lenses in her Mother’s Optician; her father, also an Eyewear Designer and Grandfather, imported binoculars for the war before setting up a glasses manufacturer. Rae had a non-optical related career before her shop but, a lifelong affinity in the field.
